Client: Financial Offices
Project: Office renovations
J-S&A developed the second and third floors of a
late nineteenth century commercial building for a
financial organization. The previously renovated
interior was gutted, and offices and conference
spaces were created to provide appropriate privacy
while at the same time preserving natural light and
a sense of openness by the use of partial walls and
glass. Brick walls were exposed at the customer’s
request. New crown molding was created with etched
glass insets and back lit. Its repeated patterns
were adapted from three-dimensional terra cotta
tiles featured on the building’s exterior.
